  • Apparently doesn't let you see home built stations like birdnetpi even though we provide this data and it's available on the website version

  • So far the devs continue to roll out updates and improve the experience on both the app and device

  • I love the app as it lets me track the birds that go through my neighborhood. I am disappointed that it does not seem to capture the chirps of the Arizona Cardinals. these birds are frequently chirping right outside the device but are not identified.

  • App itself seems fine, but it seems you can only access it from one device at a time, if I have it set up on my phone for example, but also want to access the PUC from my tablet, it needs to be "set up" again on the tablet. "Set up" as in you need to physically access the device to access it from the tablet, you can't just login to your account and access everything.

  • No batteries no accu, and no adaptor to use outside. Also not available in any online shop. I will send it back. It is not working, loosing connection, terrible and overpriced product.

  • This is the first version, so I'll go easy. Wi-Fi connection could have been smoother. Not all blue blinking light patterns are the same. A Wi-Fi strength readout would be nice for positioning. It sounds like some power optimization is in the works.

  • The bird weather puck and associated database is a real game changer. however, sometimes the app doesn't know the puck state for quite a while after it changes. and unfortunately, the puck is not as reliable as it could be. a lot because it has such a tiny interface, a single light. I wish they would come out with a next-gen Puck that had an actual display and better compute can capabilities. I'd be happy to pay a little more for it.
